TERMS & CONDITIONS
Effective Date: 1st July 2025
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all bookings and services provided by Anna‑Leena Mobile Masseuse (“we”, “our”, “us”). By scheduling an appointment, purchasing a gift voucher, or otherwise engaging with our business, you (“you”, “your”, “the client”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services
1.1 We offer mobile massage therapy (e.g., Swedish, deep‑tissue, aromatherapy) and related holistic treatments delivered at the client’s home, workplace, or holiday accommodation within the Truro area (and agreed surrounding locations).
1.2 All treatments are strictly professional and non‑sexual. Any inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate termination of the session with no refund.
2. Booking & Appointment Confirmation
2.1 Appointments are booked via phone, email, social media message, or (if applicable) our online booking tool.
2.2 Your appointment is not confirmed until you receive written confirmation (email or SMS) from us.
2.3 We reserve the right to decline a booking request for reasons including, but not limited to, travel distance, scheduling conflicts, or health‑and‑safety concerns.
3. Travel & Treatment Space
3.1 Prices quoted include travel within a 10‑mile radius of Truro city centre. Mileage beyond this may incur an agreed travel surcharge.
3.2 You must provide a clean, safe, and adequately heated space large enough to accommodate a professional massage table, allowing the therapist to move freely around it.
3.3 Pets should be kept out of the treatment area for hygiene and safety.
4. Health, Medical Disclosure & Contra‑Indications
4.1 Prior to your first treatment (and subsequently if your health changes) you must complete a consultation form and disclose any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or pregnancy.
4.2 We may decline or adapt a treatment if we believe it could pose a risk to your health.
4.3 Massage is complementary and not a substitute for medical advice; always consult your GP or healthcare professional for any medical concerns.
5. Payment
5.1 Payment is due at or before the appointment, by cash, bank transfer, SumUp card reader, or an approved voucher.
5.2 Prices are listed in GBP and may change without notice, but the rate confirmed at booking will be honoured.
5.3 We do not store card details; electronic payments are processed via secure third‑party providers.
6. Gift Vouchers
6.1 Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the purchase date and are non‑refundable.
6.2 Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced.
6.3 Voucher redemptions are subject to standard booking availability and travel limits.
7. Cancellation & Rescheduling
7.1 If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 24 hours’ notice.
7.2 Cancellations with under 24 hours’ notice may be charged 50 % of the treatment price; missed appointments or cancellations within 4 hours are charged in full.
7.3 If we must cancel (e.g., illness, vehicle breakdown), you may accept a rescheduled date or a full refund—whichever you prefer.
8. Therapist Safety & Right of Refusal
8.1 We reserve the right to leave immediately if we feel unsafe, conditions are unsanitary, or the client behaves inappropriately. The session will be charged in full.
8.2 Clients must be aged 18 or over; under‑18s require written parental consent and a responsible adult present.
9. Liability
9.1 While every effort is made to ensure a safe treatment, we are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by the client beyond our statutory responsibilities and professional insurance cover.
9.2 You are responsible for securing valuables in your premises during the treatment.
10. Privacy & Data Protection
10.1 All personal and health information is handled in line with the UK GDPR and our separate Privacy Policy (see dedicated page).
10.2 We will not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
11. Intellectual Property
Content on our website, branding, and marketing materials (including text, images, and logos) is our intellectual property. You may not reproduce or distribute it without written permission.
12. Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact Anna‑Leena within 7 days of your treatment so we can investigate and seek an agreeable resolution.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
14. Amendments
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website and will apply to future bookings from the date of publication.
